One thing that you have to know about Alex is that he always gives homeless people money—always. Regardless of who they are, Alex makes it a point to help those who are less fortunate than him.

Alex not only gives money, but he gives a generous amount. He does not simply give the homeless his pocket change—he will open up his wallet and give them dollar bills. The amount of money Alex gives varies, but is always generous.

What is even more impressive is that I have heard several homeless people say that Alex gave them too much money. Sometimes, they even offer to give some of the money back to Alex. However, Alex never accepts their offer.

Furthermore, Alex never cares about receiving gratitude or hearing a thank you. He simply helps them out and moves on to the next thing. In his world, doing the right thing is enough, which is commendable and inspirational.
